Grant Requests
Our staff identify a particular organization suited to receive a grant. We reach out to the organization directly to request a grant proposal. As a general practice, the Count of Monte Alea Foundation, Inc. refrains from funding:
Sectarian religious activities, political lobbying, or legislative activities
Loans, scholarships, fellowships, or grants to individuals
Dissertations or student research projects

Documentation Required for Grant Applications
- Mission and service to the community
- Budget from previous and current year
- Documentation from previous and current project(s)
- List of current directors/managers. A letter from the management of the institution supporting the project(s).
- Recommendation letter
- Positive report from the Regional Director for the Count of Monte Alea Foundation , Inc.
- Copy of tax exempt status.
- Project Description
- Specific Aims
- Budget
- Qualifications of the personnel involved in the project
- Evaluation procedure
- Name, address and telephone number of the person responsible for the project.
Dates for Grant submissions
All documentation for grant applications should be submitted to the Board of Directors of the Count of Monte Alea Foundation, Inc. during the following dates: October 1 to December 15.
